About me

Hi, I’m Marcus.

I’m here to help you thrive. Therapy is not just my profession—it’s my calling and passion. Over the past decade, I’ve dedicated more than 10,000 hours to working with couples, families, and individuals. I trained clinically at New York University and have practiced in a wide range of settings in both New York and Los Angeles. All of these experiences shape the grounded, real, and resilient way I show up in the therapy room.

Before becoming a therapist, I worked as a public school teacher, community organizer, tech worker, and dance teacher/performer. Each of these roles honed my ability to build relationships, navigate conflict, and connect with people from all walks of life.

I’ve learned that nothing is more powerful or more fulfilling than a meaningful relationship. Relationships can be sources of deep pain, but also profound healing, growth, and stability. This understanding guides my practice.

In my private practice, I draw from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and trauma-informed approaches, tailoring my work to meet each client where they are. At its heart, my work brings together everything I value most: helping people improve themselves, strengthen their relationships, and create lives that feel authentic and whole.
